It’s International Earth Day<\/strong><\/span> and we’d like to take this opportunity to give you some ideas on how to be more environmentally friendly as a musician<\/strong>. Here we have compiled 8 different ideas\u00a0on how to reduce, reuse, recycle and up-cycle<\/strong> in the context of a musician’s life as well as that of a consumer.<\/p>\n

8. Use an AC adapter for pedals<\/strong><\/h3>\n
Whenever there is the need for batteries<\/strong> why not consider using a power adapter<\/strong> instead? The combination of a\u00a09V Power Adapter<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and a\u00a0daisy chain<\/a>\u00a0connector<\/strong> will allow you to power several pedals at once<\/strong>. What’s wrong with batteries? Well, batteries contain toxic chemicals<\/strong> that can leak into water ways damaging ecosystems and poisoning wildlife and humans if they aren’t disposed of properly. If you really do need to use them make sure to dispose of them properly<\/strong> (most countries have battery collection & recycling programs<\/strong>). Most electronics stores<\/strong> have battery drop-off containers, don’t hesitate to ask.<\/div>\n
