Not as dark sounding as one might hope

I bought this hi-hat to use it as my secondary dry/dark type of hi-hat.
It is very heavy, and feels pretty solid. It's so heavy, that you have to use a good quality hi-hat clutch if you don't want it to close on it's own after few hits.

It has definitely a darker sound, but not as dark and/or thrashy as you might expect. Still, pretty decent hi-hat, considering the price.

Das Ding ist der Hammer.
Optisch, wie haptisch macht die Zultan Dark Matter Hihat einen sehr edlen Eindruck und ist perfekt verarbeitet.
Den Sound-Demos zu folge, war es ohnehin die einzige, die zunächst klanglich meiner Vorstellung entsprach. Der Eindruck hat sich dann im Proberaum bestätigt. Das Teil wurde in bester Thomann-Manier bereits am Tag nach der Bestellung geliefert.
Es bleibt mir ein Rätsel, warum Hihats, die weit mehr als das doppelte kosten, im Vergleich zu dieser, wie Bleicheimer klingen.

Also verschwendet eure Kohle nicht für etwas, nur weil Zildjian, Sabian, Paiste, oder sonst was drauf steht.

Absolut uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung.

Je viens d'essayer ces cymbales en répétition, elles sont vraiment excellentes !!
Je peux vous dire, quelles font leurs bon poids. je joue en général avec des Avedis en 13", le jeu est totalement différent ce qui est normal, j'ai été très vite à l'aise avec ce 15" d'une part pour la disposition, mais également par le jeu.
On obtient ici un son chaleureux et d'une brillance moyenne ouvert il bave et brille bien, et on a un bon volume sonore.
On obtient un "chick" distinct au pied, clair et précis.
Le "tick" de la baguette est audible même en jouant avec des guitares et basses à fort volume, chose que je n'avais pas avant avec mes 13", c'est un vrai plaisir de jeu.
Vraiment un bon compromis entre gros son et précision !
Ce charley semble solide.
Ne lui trouvant aucun point négatif, je le recommande vivement à tous ceux qui souhaite l'acquérir.
