Good battery

caniki, 04.04.2018
For those looking for a drum that resembles an acoustic touch, the silicone patches are perfect, the rebound is very similar to the acoustic drum and very quiet, the drum is the most heard, but touching normal hours does not find anyone. The module easy to control and especially with the application for the Ipad.
I buy it to study and practice at home, and not have to go to the place daily, and very happy with it, it is an electronic battery and those who have acoustic drums, I imagine that they know the advantages and disadvantages that one has regarding the other.

Very good with abbreviations in the B-note

Jakob, 07.12.2015
Have the set now for about 4 weeks and am so far overall very satisfied.

For me it was the purchase of an e-drums, because I moved into a rented apartment, in which of course with an acoustic set can not be played. But since I did not want to stop playing, I was looking for an e-drum for pure practice in the apartment, I did not intend to use this on a stage. A big special feature is the construction of my apartment, since the set is in a cellar room, which is directly attached to my apartment and under it lies, and thus the great problem kick-sound with me structurally hardly appears.

For me it was clear that it can not be one of the very cheap sets, since here neither the sound nor the playability can replace an acoustic drums (at least for my application). Also the Roland sets, up to the TD30, did not tell me because of the inserted meshheads with their, for my feeling, too strong rebound and were also very expensive.
In the end, only the sets of Yamaha left, which with their silicone pads create a, for me, comparatively natural rebound, play very quietly and offer for the same price as the Rolands more equipment.

Ultimately, it has become the DTX582, because the rubber kickpad of the little brother 562 reboundtechnically again not said it and I did not want to do without a normal HiHat machine. The new KP100 is much softer than the rubber pad and springs back almost naturally.
The Yamaha-typical 3 zone snarepad is great, as Rimclicks can be carried out clean. The 3-zone pelvic pads are also very natural. Multi-zone pads for the toms I do not need, here I have the Yamaha solution rather that the Tomeingänge in stereo are executed and thus can be connected with a Y-cable another, freely assignable basin or Tompad.

The sounds of the DTX502 module are very useful. The choice is not as generous as with the large Yamaha and Roland modules, but there should be something for everyone. There is a suitable, preconfigured kit, jazz, funk, rock, metal, various percussion ensembles for almost every musical direction, and the electrosection is well represented. More goes, of course, for me.
The existing sounds are good playable, for the exercise is sufficiently dynamic, but for live applications the extremes are missing, the amount of available dynamics is manageable, you can hear quite clearly, if a new sample is used. For me no problem, because only for the more realistic practiced thought.

Now the negative (if also for me to be painful):

1. The rack is quite stable (for the exercise use definitely enough) BUT, I have so far not managed the Rackklammern so that the pads do not twist. I have to adjust the snare regularly during my practice sessions, the third Tompad also moves very quickly. Here I will probably have to buy shortly or long another rack, with really strong tightening brackets.
Pity Yamaha that you can not expect Hexrack for this price is clear, but a rack where the pads in the adjusted position even with a bit tougher playing linger one can expect for almost 1800¤ I already expect.

2. Yes, the pad pads (also the HiHat) are not playable round, which is with Roland of course better, but the Yamaha pads cost significantly less than the Rolandpendanten. The Yamahas can be arrested, then they are well protected against twisting. For the live operation is this system but I believe only conditionally usable, since these screws can loosen (especially with the much stressed HiHat I had to pull several times).

3. (really very painful) Supplied is a HiHat machine. This does their job so well, but it is not usable with a double pedal, since the legs are not rotatable and thus the slave pedal can not be positioned practically. I had anyway to use my existing Mapex Falcon HiHat machine, so this point does not matter to me.

I hope I could help with my evaluation with the E-Drum purchase something.
