Great tuner
PhilJA 21.12.2017
I bought this to replace an original Warwick tuner where the securing nut popped out of the thread once the thomann string was brought up to tension. The new one has a beefier nut that means that this won't happen again. The tuner itself is excellent. It is very smooth in action and I find that it is easy to find the right tuning whether going up or down thomann towards the target note. I have another bass with Fender-style tuners and I have to tune down below the target note and then tune back up again towards it in order to get it right. With the Warwick tuners this isn't an issue, the smallest change in either thomann direction results in an immediate and held change in pitch. Brilliant.

Better build quality
Renniks 01.03.2020
I bought this to replace a bent tuning peg on a Warwick Corvette I bought secondhand. The bend wasn't allowing the nut to seat correctly, and wouldn't tighten up properly.
The replacement is exactly the same, except for the threaded nut section. On the original part, the thread had a milled flat section on it, the new part doesn't have this, but is a continuous thread. This gives a more positive, smoother threading action, and the thread itself doesn't have the 'rough' feel when hand-tightening it that the original had.
I went and replaced all four tuning heads, as another user gave feedback mentioning a better build quality - which I would go along with after comparing the original & new parts.

Drop-in replacement

It is hard to imagine that there could be a problem fitting a Warwick tuner to a Warwick bass and indeed there wasn't. Fitted my '08 Corvette fretless low B perfectly and took just a couple of minutes to fit.
