This is expensive but worth the money. If you want a sound with a bit more "edge" to it the V16 is perfect. Not plastic so will last and last.

I use it for Latin American music and it has just that bit of roughness or edge which makes it a good sound.

Ich bin das Gegenteil von dem, was man einen "Materialspieler" nennt. Meine Zeit stecke ich lieber ins Üben. Ein gut funktionierendes Setup spiele ich über Jahre und entwickelt sich auch auf diese Weise weiter.

Wenn nicht neulich ein Saxophonschüler von mir 7 Mundstücke in die Stunde mitgebracht hätte, um mit mir zusammen ein für ihn stimmiges auszusuchen. Alle schieden nacheinander aus, bis das T7 seinen Wohlklang aussandte.

Es gefiel mir so gut, dass ich auch mal probiert habe - und siehe da. Wow. Bisher habe ich ein VanDoren V16 T77 gespielt, auch ein super Mundstück. Das T7 spricht superleicht an, selbst in der tiefen Lage, subtonig sowie straight geblasen. Es spielt sich in Ansprache und Klangfarbe sehr gleichmässig in allen Registern. Unkompliziert und zum Wohlfühlen. Ich spiele es (Berufssaxophonist) für dezente Hintergrundmusik mit Blattstärke 2,5 (VanDoren Java grün) und für mehr Power mit 3,0 oder sogar 3,5 (Van Doren Java grün). Brauche ich einen weichen, luftigen Sound, dann spiele ich VanDoren Java 2,5 rot.

Ich empfehle das T7 jetzt allen Schülern, weil es auch von Schülern hervorragend beherrschbar ist und dennoch alle Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten eines Profimundstückes bietet. Ausserdem ist es preisgünstig!
