Quite a difficult pedal to review as there is alot to say. I will say straight off the bat , when I searched online for reviews I didn't find alot that really talk about what's great about this pedal, a few mentioned that the fxs were quite out there and hard to dial in. These reviews were also by guitarists and some of the fXs do sound bad with a guitar, try putting a casio vl tone through the auto wah though!!!!. If you come at this pedal from the viewpoint that it's a multi fx and that you can use this with a synth or drum machine it's a very creative pedal. What I really dig about this pedal is the fact it's difficult to specify where in your signal chain it should sit. Purists will say a modulation should go near the front but the fact you can dial in a echo or ring modulation or a tremolo can really forces you to experiment and start plugging in cables like its a modular synth. But also there is alot to like if you are a guitarist too, I imagined that this pedal would be a jack of all trades and not really do any effect very well and while it won't be replacing my boss ce-2 it's far more idiosyncratic than my boss and actually put a gun to my head and say you can only have one pedal in life, boss ce2 or valeton coral mod i would pick the latter. I only had it two days and it's a joy to be able to mess with ring modulation auto wah and phasers. Digital fx have gotten much better since the days of the zoom 505. This would make a rocking first pedal for someone starting out or someone who just wants to mess things up a bit. Good stuff

I rummaged again at Thomann and pushed on this pedal. 80 euros for 16 modulation effects sound unrealistically good and so it was.

Of the 16 effects, approximately 5 or 6 are useful at all. The wah-wah? S are, for example, decent, and with a lot of fingertip feeling also the Vibe effect and the tremolo.
Each of these effects, except the Detuner who eats only the highs and the sustain, are mercilessly surpassed. Too much of the good. Can be used on the lowest settings, however, if it has to be. As expected, without exception, all effects are extremely digital. The two Choruses are laughable, I ask myself really what they think with Valeton and whether they also test their products themselves.

So far so good, for the money one could consider this pedal anyway, it would not literally worsen with every day. Every day, the noise was increased because of the pedal, until the Emp could hardly reproduce the sound again.
This makes the product useless, no matter whether you enjoyed the sounds or not.

I learned from it, not to buy multi-effects pedal more and prefer to set quality by a pedal, which then also the desired sound. I can recommend this to any bargain hunter ...
