I purchased these for use on the road as part of my DJ setup. As soon as i took them out of the box I knew I had a quality product, the feel and look of the materials used in the construction was excellent and they look a lot more expensive than they cost. The chrome trim shows up under the lighting I have on stage and I have had people come up and ask me what headphones I am using, I never had that before.
For DJing these are perfect, the cable is a quality curly cord which is attached to the left hand headphone with a mini jack. There is an anti pull-apart clip which keeps the mini jack together in use. Sound quality is right up there with the best and because of the large high power neo drivers you can wind up the audio without distortion. Sound isolation is also very good which is a must for DJing.
I tried using them for misic listening for a couple of hours and found them perfectly comfortable, so they would equally suit studio use.
One interesting feature is the automatic adjustment on the headphone band, its one of those things that just works but I have no idea how. Overall great headphones at a good price and backed up by excellent Thoman warranty and customer service.
I bought this pair of Headphones some month ago and used them 5 or 6 times. Then they started to work bad (only one side). Thomann changed them for a new pair which had more or less the same destiny...and this time it was in the middle of a DJ set...I don't think I would recommend them unless is someone I hate.
