These are great value LED gooseneck lamps. We use them for our Avolites lighting desks, which requires a small amount of soldering at the XLR end to get the 12V on the correct pins (Avolites are Pin 1 = +12V, Pin 2 = 0V).
The lamp dims nicely when required, and has sufficient light output for most consoles.
The only negative is that the 'beam' is very narrow, so you won't get the same spread of light that you would from a traditional incandescent gooseneck lamp.

Stairville LEDXLR3A as pedalboard lighting
2 pieces of these LED goosenecks with XLR angled plug to replace my existing lamps, which do not have an angle plug, and therefore need to be bent to light the pedalboard. (XLR jacks on the back) Functioning brilliantly and the board shines well, since the 4 LEDs are arranged in series and with some distance to each other. (In my old the 4 LED's were arranged punctiform) The Schwanenhals can be bent well, but still maintains the adjusted shape. Also turning the XLR connector was easy. Screw on the housing, turn the plug in the desired direction (at 90 °), screw it back in again, done. It's a pity that this type of construction has only one length, but I can live with it. Good price / performance ratio. Why other manufacturers demand more than double, does not reveal itself to me. So if you are looking for a good and cheap Schwanenhalslampe with XLR-Anschluss, can access here without hesitation.
