The reason why we bought the system is pretty simple: In our Rock Band we move around the stage a lot when playing live. With a wireless guitar rig you might say so far so good. However the constant struggle was the monitoring that - depending on where exactly you just are on stage - was good or bad. In our case we found ourselves out of the monitoring volumes too many times. Therefore we bought the PSM 200 system. It is extremely simple to use. Once plugged to the mixer you can start setting up the individual receivers and you are almost ready to go. Just find the right volume level for your particular set and that's it. The big advantage is the individual setting you can do: You would like to have the total mix louder? Just turn up the volume on your set and you can hear everything louder, while all other band members will still enjoy the volume levels, they have dialed into on their set. You would like to hear the drums better? Just adjust the mix at the mixer to higher level etc. etc. And last but not least: It really protects your ears from the high peaks of the live playing and direct output of the drums, guitar speakers etc. I would have preferred a metal housing for the system, but that is rather "poetry"....

Solid in-ear receiver
Use the Shure with my Ultimate Ears 7 Pro both live and in the Pro space.
Positive: Easy handling; The channel can be changed by means of a pressure switch, so far I have never had to go through an unintended channel change since this requires double pressing of the button; Very good sound quality; Reliably and in spite of the many plastics solidly processed - also holds inadvertently draufnitzen or anchecken.
Negative: Cracks when switched on, which can be unpleasant when the In-Ears are already installed; Sucks a lot of battery!
Conclusion: Despite the one or the other weakness I would go back on this transmitter, since reliable, convinced in the sound and (so far) not to be broken, furthermore not overpriced.
