Habe den PU in eine Burns Cobra in Stegposition eingebaut . (Hals und Mitte Fender Custum 69) Erster Eindruck : Enttäuschend! Kein Druck, leise, lediglich der Single Coil Split
war erträglich.
Nächster Schritt: alle 5 Anschlüsse verlängert, unter dem Pickguard herausgeführt und wieder zusammengebaut.
Nun ergab sich nach mehreren Kombinationen ein brauchbarer Sound, wenn man die Anschlüsse genau entgegengesetzt, als auf der Anleitung angegeben, ausführt.
Fazit: Der Humbucker Sound ist etwas voller und lauter als die Single Coils, Der Split Single Coil Sound ist fast gleich, hat aber mehr Treble und Brillianz.
Von einem High Output Humbucker hatte ich aber mehr erwartet...
