Absolutely nothing to complain about
This 3-fold pedal unit, which of course only makes sense with the Roland KSC-70 keyboard stand, appears to be a little expensive at first sight. But if you compare similar pedals from different manufacturers, you can see how good the price-performance ratio is.
This positive impression is further reinforced by taking into account the quality offered. I used to have a 1996 Clavinova, which also had such a triple pedal. But that of Roland feels better under my feet. This is partly because the three pedals are underlined. They are not simply pushed "into the void". And the pressure to be exerted is, in my opinion, perfectly coordinated.
What's more, with this pedal in conjunction with my Roland FP-30 is great, the ability to steadily attenuate the fading sound like with a proper grand piano or piano. This is really fun and sounds very compelling.
Also in conjunction with the FP-30, it is possible to use the left pedal so that it can flip the pages of a note app. This function I have but not yet tried. For many interpreters and learners but certainly a good feature.
I could imagine that you could use the thing with some skill even without the KSC-70 stand. This would be very handy for live events because you would not have to give up the comfort of such a luxury pedal.
All in all, this pedaling unit is absolutely recommendable. And in combination with the stand, you get a 100% stable stand. Nothing slips away, and every piano player, every pianist wants to do it: you can easily forget the pedal during the game. As shown in Fig.
