après avoir testé la powerstroke 4 en comparaison, je préfère nettement celle-ci. Son plus ouvert, une véritable référence !

La miglior pelle per cassa
Suonando a giro per i locali mi trovo spesso a suonare batterie non mie con le più svariate pelli ma sono sempre contento quando vedo una PowerStroke 3 sulla cassa, sia sabbiata e non.
Personalmente preferisco la versione sabbiata, mi sembra abbia un suono più rotondo e caldo.

Versatilità (su Youtube trovate un video di Benny Greb con le più svariate accordature)
Durata, in più con la patch annessa è praticamente indistruttibile.
Estetica fenomenale, look classico.

L'unico contro forse è la patch fornita insieme alla pelle che l'ultima volta mi si è scollata dopo una settimana di utilizzo.

Powerstroke 3 - Der Standard auf der Bassdrum seit Jahrzehnten
Ich habe durchaus mal rechts und links andere Bassdrumfelle getestet, komme aber immer wieder zum Powerstroke 3 zurück. Natürlich ist da auch der persönliche Geschmack tragend. Ich mag einen Bassdrumsound mit möglichst viel Tiefgang und nicht zu viel Attack. Es soll nach Rock klingen, aber nicht nach Metallica (Klick-Klack-Sound). Dazu bleibt die prägende Erfahrung, dass mir ein sackteures Evans-Bassdrumfelle vor 2500 Zuschauern mal im zweiten Song gerissen ist (trotz Falam Pad auf dem Fell). Dieser Eindruck wirkt leider auch nach. Ich bin bei Snare und Tomfellen seit ein paar Jahren bei Evans "zu Hause" und überzeugt. Beim Bassdrumfelle sind aber Experimente auch gleich so teuer ;)

A real bad boy
I love this head - perfect if you like a fat sound from your bass drum. I play on the drum with sticks in a multi percussion set up, and this head really provides the low and powerful spectrum of sound to the music.

Perfect balance between tone and body
I have been using EMAD 2 , Aquarian Modern Vintage with Felt stripe and a Powerstroke 3 1 ply on my 24" Maple BD. The powerstroke 3 is giving me the sound i am looking for. Without additional muffling, i can leave the BD open and still get a nice attack and a full sound. The BD is much more powerfull but now with a full rounded and meaty tone. The EMAD 2 was too dead for me and not powerful enough. The aquarian was really good but this one is even better. Highly recommend it.

Solidissima
Questa pelle battente sabbiata per grancassa da 24" è il giusto compromesso, se volete ottenere dalla vostra cassa un suono estremamente profondo, ma allo stesso tempo controllato. La sabbiatura rende questa pelle leggermente più calda rispetto alla sorella "clear", ma con un inconveniente; i battenti dei pedali tendono ad usurarsi più rapidamente se non viene applicato l'impact patch in dotazione! che oltre ad ovviare a questo problemino, contribuisce a salvaguardare la pelle.

Comprei para usar em estúdio num bombo de 24'' que tinha uma pele velha . troquei pela Remo ps3 coated e estou muito contente com o resultado. Recomendo.

Klassiker im weißen Gewand...
Powerstroke 3, das fällt einem zu Bassdrumfellen genauso schnell ein, wie der bekannte Kompaktwagen, die warmhaltende Kaffeekanne oder die besonders saugstarken Zellstofftücher ansonsten. So viele Drummer können nicht irren - und auch als beschichtete Variante hält dieses Fell immer, was es verspricht, lässt einen nie hängen und holt aus der Bassdrum einfach raus, was drinsteckt.

Das beste, das man seiner Bassdrum tun kann.
Zusammen mit einem Falam Slam im sweetspot für mich die optimale Wahl als Bassdrumschlagfell. Verwende diese Kombination auf zwei komplett unterschiedlichen Bassdrums und sie holt echt jeweils das letze heraus. Man muss durch die Eigendämpfung des Fells nix in die Bass legen, um Obertöne abzutöten. Somit erreicht man einen tiefen, wummernden Grundton, der durch das Falam Slam, selbst mit Filzbeatern, den nötigen Attack erhält.
Jetzt noch ein Fell der selben Serie als Resonanzfell aufziehen, resonierend stimmen und dann kann man in kleinen Clubs auch mal ohne Mikrofonierung spielen, ohne dass der Zuhörer auf den Bassdrumsound verzichten muss. ;)
