Very good amp!

17.02.2016
First of all, I must say: I am not a professional and this assessment is purely subjective. I've been playing guitar for about 7 years and I've also been able to try some tops of different companies. Nevertheless, this is my first, own top, therefore I may be missing the exact comparisons.

The top is on a 1960 Marshall AV box. So far, everything is still here and not in the Proberaum, but since I am not living in a small town, I could already a little further.

The processing is perfectly fine. All parts have high quality. The controllers speak precisely and are not spongy.

The clean channel is not as clean as expected and not suitable for blues musicians or generally quieter genres. Personally, however, this does not bother me very much, since I as a metal fan anyway mostly distorted.

The first gain channel is probably largely to the hard rock and Oldschool Heavy Metal faction. With boost switched on, it is already really tidy.

The second gain channel is the one I used most frequently. Even without boost, a fat sound is already delivered, just suitable for (Melodic) Death and Black Metal. With Boost, of course, all the more.

Negative is the following:

The individual channels have only one volume and one gain control. The exact depths, mids and treble as well as the Presence control are set together for all channels.
For me personally not too relevant, because I live, synonymous live always on a channel.

Any effects, such as reverb, etc, fall completely below the table and must be retrofitted eg with foot switches. I can also do without that, because I use effects very rarely and in my experience a good treader is usually better.

All these weaknesses are relatively unimportant to me and to my playing style. I mention it here, however, to warn all jazz musicians :)

Overall the Randall convinces me and I can put it to every metal fan.

AND BOOOOM !!!

06.07.2014
This small head amp Randall Diablo RD 100Head send welding!

3 channels available quickly with LE foot switch Randall.
- clean, moving from rock'n'roll to jazz, without any worry
- light distortion, for hard rock for a good coffee-concert gilded.
- increased distortion and armored saturation, to send a heavy and heavy sound, for heavy to Brutal-Death without flinching.
+1 boost can be used on all channels, to increase the performance of your instrument!

Output Jack, XLR and USB.

Having a good set-up requires an extremely short adaptation time.
The knob readings allow for intuitive sound adjustments.

This amp sends the heavy both clean and saturated and gives a sensation of hot or cold notes depending on your settings.
Do not hesitate to play with the knobs, as well as enjoy yourself on an amp of excellent quality.

A nice red color (bloody ...) of backlighting lamps,
Yes, that would be the diavlo without its color of predilections, humm?

Lack some finishing but really have to be meticulous, and want the sought after deep in the amp head to find them!

Artists using Randall material:
- Kirk Hammett by Metallica
- Georges Lynch of KXM
- Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme and guitarist for Rihanna
- Scott Ian from Anthrax
and
Ola Englund from The Haunted, Six Feet Under and Feared
