There is a great tone on these mandolin strings. They sound bright for a long time after they are on. They don't drift out of tune on my mando very often. They aren't too hard on the fingers.

naja, ich gebe es zu, die Mandoline ist eines von drei Instrumenten, die ich bei feldsalad spiele und nicht mein Hauptinstrument.
Und: da ich nicht pfleglich mit Saiten umgehe, keine Konservierung und Saitenreinigung verwende, tausche ich lieber die Saiten aus, als Ewigkeiten auf den gleichen (teureren) Saiten herum zu reiten.
Die Saitensätze sind ok, klingen mehr als akzeptabel und werden, wie erwähnt, öfter getauscht.
Somit habe ich kein Problem mit Brillianz und Höhenverlusten. Nun ja, die Finger "schmecken" nicht lecker, wenn man "normale", also keine Phosphor Bronze oder gar Gore Tex Saiten verwendet, aber ... der Preis spricht für sich. Ich verwende diese Saiten ausschließlich für meine OVATION CELEBRITY MCS148 MANDOLINE und bin, wie gesagt, zufrieden damit.

Bei mehreren Instrumenten muss man oft auch bezüglich der Saiten Kompromisse machen, da das Hobby sonst den Haussegen bezüglich der Finanzen in Schieflage bringt. Mit den Pyramid Mandolinen Saiten habe ich, finde ich, einen guten Kompromiss zwischen Preis und Leistung gefunden.
