I bought these by mistake, I was supposed to have some batteries for the Vox Amplug 2 AC30 which, as I later discovered, uses AAA batteries.

The quality is good though. It's a standard LR6 / 1.5V / AA alkaline battery. It comes neatly packaged in fours, as shown in the product image. The color is mostly gold, with blue color and white minus signs on the negative end, and blue plus signs on the positive end. The batteries are not rechargeable, and they contain no mercury or cadmium at all which is nice from an environmental standpoint. They also have a symbol showing that the batteries are recyclable.

The batteries are made in China. They are labeled Maxell in big print, and Hitachi Maxell in small print. The expiry date for the bunch I got is april 2019, which is about four years into the future. I do not know if this is a typical durability for a battery or if I got an old bunch.

I think the price for the batteries was more than fair, and you might just as well throw in a pair together with the rest of your order when you purchase something from here. You never know when you need some new batteries.

What can you say about batteries on an established brand, really? They will last long enough depending on the device and your use of it, and avoiding leakage is all up you taking precaution. Whether the price is a scam is debatable.

Batteries are batteries.

These seem to last as long as any other brand but they are a lot cheaper, so it's a no brainer.

Good batteries

I bought these for my wireless in-ear monitoring receiver. I was suprised! Before i bought these i used cheap AA batteries from the local store. I could use them for about 2 gigs. A pair of these Maxell batteries can last at least 3-4 gigs (up to 6 hours each). Highly recommended!
