Great spark, pocket transmitter medi ssig!

Tristan aus O., 16.09.2012
I'm pretty confident in the radio system in general. I have only two things to expose to the bodypack transmitter:

1. The (in my case) rather shaky battery door, which is also responsible for the reasonable circuit, was a bit loose from the beginning.
Two weeks ago I wanted to change batteries during the break and put in batteries. The transmitter did not respond and is defective since then.
To make matters worse, the one battery was still stuck, since the battery openings are very narrow dimensioned.
But I do not want to put that on the overall standings, because you can just have bad luck. I have already contacted Thomann for the purpose of guarantee and you will surely come to a solution.

2. What annoys me much more: Since it is a universal transmitter (microphones, lavaliers, instruments) you have to buy a guitar in addition to a cable, which has on one side a jack (for the guitar) and on the other a 4-pin Mini-XLR !!!
That really bothered me a lot, because you can not get these cables in an emergency in every music store, you can really give the soldering on the mini-plug, he is very sensitive and he does not lock properly, but only in it. The latter was never a problem for me.

The 2nd point is for me really the only big minus point, which probably comes from the operational capability as a transmitter for strings or something similar.

But this is a common problem with almost all manufacturers of wireless systems: Everybody has their own plug system, so that one depends on the respective companies. I remember my previous system from another manufacturer, which had a screw-on minijack as Bodypack connector. The cable could be changed at regular intervals, as it often came to loose contacts.

In short: A solid wireless system, apart from the shortcomings I've experienced on the pocket transmitter!

Away with the sch ... cable!

Robarth, 06.09.2012
Vorh seih said that (contrary to the headline) nothing about a decent, correspondingly short cable goes! But with radio transmitter you simply have more freedom of movement.

To the Line6 XD-V75TR:

I was skeptical at first. In the context of the word "audio" it has always been clear to me that it is better to use "analogue". But in the live area you can probably make an exception. The thing of Line6 does what it should and without great sound losses. Sure, the track on which you can move is a bit short, but for most stages it is enough. Unless you are one of the bands that put meter-thick walls on stage. With the transmission range at 2.4 GHz, I hope to have a long time rest and do not need to worry about any admission stories. Finally, to the operation ... Simply briefly familiarized with the description and key functions (search for potential sources of interference absolutely sensible and easy), plug in and you can start immediately. At least I have not regretted the investment so far.
