Nice!
VUZOOKA, 30.01.2019
I haven't had a decent bass amplifier ever. I had an inexpensive SX bass amplifier when I bought my first bass, but you hardly got any sharpness in the sound, it didn't work out if you played slap or with your fingers.

So after many years I have finally acquired a reasonably serious amplifier and I am quite satisfied. I do not know what to compare it with, but it has many nice features that I was looking for, the compressor is excellent for slack, although it may feel like it is a little weak, there seems to be plenty of weight in the sound, it has auxiliary output (and a powerful one, so make sure you have the volume at a reasonably low level!) and an XLR output for recording. I just play it at home, so I don't know if it palletises with a gig.

It can be angled, which is nice, it directs the sound more towards where you stand, my room does not have the best acoustics so it sounds better from some angles and less good from others, but I think as said that it is the room's and not the amplifier's wrong.

Overall I am very satisfied, I play loose on it and have great fun and can play for hours. Looking forward to new bases to play on it with and maybe some exciting effect pedal or something!

PS Thank you Thomann for fast delivery and good selection!

Very complete
Michael aus Ils***, 06.05.2019
Since unfortunately so far no text evaluation was available, I ordered the Laney RB3 a little on suspicion. First of all: I bought it especially for me, preferably for practicing, playing in the living room or possibly with / against an e-drum. Performances and indoor PA were not the goal.
What were my criteria for this election? I was looking for a good amplifier, which has two input options for passive and active signals. Weight should be reasonable (I put it back in the corner every day after practicing), 12 "speaker would be desirable, I excluded some other products after reading the reviews or reviews, I did not want to risk buzz or fan noise, Laney The answer is yes, weight is okay, the information will be like times rounded off, but here are actually only 15.4 kg on the scales, even weighed in. Two additional handles on the sides are not wrong The whole, if you do not want to give the sound on your feet, but the hairstyle Attention: the center of gravity is up, so not with a kick into the butt to carry, but is also tilted stable.
What do you get? The English manual is very concise, clear, easy to read and will therefore be repealed, the annoying safety instructions in 12 languages are nice to separate (will be disposed of quickly), and who wants to come out as a fan of Laney, even gets even a sentence with 10 (!) Various stickers included.
The equipment is absolutely complete for my use, even an effect way is on board, switchable compressor is thereby. The details can indeed be found in the description. You can not connect another loudspeaker, but I do not have that and anyway it is often only intended for higher wattage and prices.
The solid, haptic very pleasant controls of the EQ (with middle position) are clearly recognizable, but the sound really does not need much change. If you play very high notes, you notice the tweeter too, otherwise it is not noticeable, the sound is very neutral, clear or balanced. If you like to work on your own personalities, you can certainly do a lot with the EQ. With the gain you can significantly increase distortion, without it is immediately noisy. The question remains: 65 watts, is that enough? For quiet practice, I set Gain to 2 and Volume to 2 to 3, that's enough, with an active bass that is a bit louder. So far I have not dared to hire more than 6, I have tolerant neighbors, but I do not want to annoy them. For my needs, enough volume comes out, whether you can bring the windows to clink, I do not know, but the feeling of "too loud" creates the amplifier anyway without straining to act. Personally, I also like the design of the control panel, the dark blue looks classy and the lettering is perfectly legible. You do not have to be ashamed of the thing visually.
No, that was not a mistake, the amplifier I keep in any case. I'm very satisfied.
