Promising, but too expensive just to try out

I was never satisfied with standard finger picks.
These really seemed promising because out of all of those I've tried so far, these ones really mimic the fingernail the most. The first fit was very uncomfortable - a rather sharp edge digging directly into my cuticles. So I did some filing and cutting (as recommended) after which they became much more comfortable. Unfortunately they also became worthless. That edge and overall length of the top part is important for the overall hold and leverage. Now they pull up away from the fingernails when picking.
I have quite small hands, or maybe better to say short fingers. I suspect that's my biggest problem, not the product.
So maybe someone with different fingers think they're fine. a lot of people recommend them on the web. And I must say they were really promising at first. But after rendering them useless I obviously can't send them back.
Oh well, if you have the extra cash....

As I use these often they can become loose fitting. Overall they are the best finger-picks I have come across.

Good finger picks, you need to accommodate to them for a month or so but after a while they fit comfortably. The tone is mellower than the transparent poly ones.

Meine Fingernägel sind durch außermusikalischer Tätigkeit öfter nicht zum Picken zu nutzen. Als Wenigfingerpicker bin ich deshalb immer wieder auf der Suche nach den richtigen Fingerpicks. Die Kelly Freedompicks sind die ersten, mit denen ich sofort, ohne Gewöhnungszeit spielen konnte. Dafür schonmal ein großes Plus. Die Anpassung ist mir noch nicht gelungen, mit heißem Wasser scheint's nicht so richtig zu klappen. Ich arbeite dran :-) Negativ ist der deutlich gedämpfte Klang zu bemerken. Ich denke, nach entsprechender "Maniküre" lässt sich das beheben, ich werde berichten.
Die Picks sitzen sehr stramm auf den Fingern, was für die Funktion wahrscheinlich wichtig ist. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich Vielpicker dazu äußern werden.
Ergänzung: Die "Maniküre" hat geholfen, der Klang (auch die Ansprache) ist jetzt ok. Einfach mit einer kleinen Halbrundfeile (Nadelfeile) von innen die Spitze etwas dünner machen.
