Wider alle Erwartungen...

Ich gebe zu, meine bisherigen Erfahrungen mit Produkten der Firma Epiphone waren eher abschreckend (z.B. eine wirklich grausame SG-400). Doch eine Hummingbird für unter 250 Euro ? Die musste ich antesten... Mit der meinen Erfahrungen entsprechenden Skepsis und reichlich Vorbehalten gut gerüstet, wurde bestellt.

Aussehen: Wow...

Haptik: Sie ist sehr leicht, der Hals entspricht vom Radius und der Bepielbarkeit meinen Spielgewohnheiten (Les-Paul-Spieler). Ich habe natürlich gesucht, aber bisher irgendwie noch nix zu meckern gefunden...

Verarbeitung: Ich habe noch nie eine besser verarbeitete Epiphone in der Hand gehabt. Mechaniken, Bundstäbchen, Sattel, Bridge, Binding, alles sauber verarbeitet, keine Klebereste etc., naja, ich suche noch weiter, irgendwas muss sich doch finden lassen... :-)

Sound: Grundsound sehr kräftig, Akkorde klingen sehr voll und ausgewogen, obertonreich. Die ab Werk aufgezogenen Saiten sind eher nicht so gut (werde wie bei allen meinen Gitarren Elixier aufziehen), aber das ist sicher Geschmacks- und Gewohnheitssache.

Tja, und nun ? Wider alle Erwartungen eine wirklich gute Akustikgitarre, der Langzeiteinsatz wird es zeigen, bis dahin klare Kaufempfehlung.

Belle guitare et bonne lutherie;les cordes sont un peu hautes ..mais bon, à ce prix là faut pas rêver ..ça sonne quand même..l'électronique est satisfaisante ,attention quand même au larsen...

Überraschung für mich alten Knacker

Seit 32 Jahren das erste neue Instrument bei dem ich weder den Sattel noch die Stegeinlage runterfeilen musste.
Ein Traumhafter Hals ! richtig gute Mechaniken !

Ich hab sie hauptsächlich wegen der Optik und dem Preis gekauft und habe sie jetzt als Gitarre für jeden Tag und jede Umgebung ohne Angst vor beschädigung oder diebstahl wie bei teuren Gitarren.

Die Werkssaiten hab ich auf ne andere Gitarre gespannt. Ich hab jetzt 50 40 28 Ernie Ball extra Slinky Acoustic und 16 11 09 DAddario EXL120 drauf . Weil ich manchmal 5 Stunden am Stück spiele und das geht mit standard 12ern nicht.

Die Tasche kann man wegwerfen, ich hätte gleich nen Koffer nehmen sollen.

Der Sound gefällt mir auch immer besser. Bei sehr starkem Strumming kann sie kein Gas geben wie eine 700 Euro Taylor. Trotzdem liebe ich die Epiphone Hummingbird Pro so sehr das sie mein Liebling ist.

Unschlagbar um diesen Preis!

Ich bin zufällig auf die Akustikgitarren von Epiphone gestoßen und konnte diese im Ladengeschäft von Thomann kurz antesten und war vorallem von der Bespielbarkeit und dem Klang trotz der sehr stark abgenutzten Saiten überrascht.

Zuhause angekommen - habe ich mich in erster Linie aufgrund er Optik - für eine EJ200 entschieden und dann auch bestellt. Als die Gitarre ankam - dank thomann einen Tag später! - war ich von der Verarbeitung, Saitenlage, Bespielbarkeit und vom Klang total überwältigt und dachte ich hätte bestimmt ein "Einzelstück" erwischt, bei dem einfach alles stimmt. Also da ich noch Platz an meiner Wand habe also gleich noch die Hummingbird bestellt und was soll ich sagen, ich habe wohl wieder ein "Einzelstück" erwischt ;-))

Ich möchte anmerken, dass ich mehrere sehr teure Akustikgitarren im Bereich von >1000 bis 5000€ besitze unter anderem auch eine seltene original Gibson und natürlich hinkt der Vergleich teilweise aber es ist nunmal so, beide Gitarren sind nahezu perfekt bundrein (hatte ich bei teuerer Gitarren schon anders erlebt) und lassen sich vorallem butterweich spielen, selbst mit 12er Saiten die ich bevorzugt spiele!

Absolut klare Kaufempfehlung!
