There's nothing to be said - It's dw 9000 series hardware. I own single tom holders and they are perfect. The idea to use 12.7mm L-rode is great. All the 9000 series hardware is pretty massive. Only one negative thing I found - the memory clamp I'd rather prefer on the underside so that the dw sm-992 to lay on it - a lot more sturdy and the aesthetics will be better.

excellent product! needed it to attach it to a cymbal stand for tom tuning purposes - before I always had to remove and reinstall the tom clamps from their specific cymbal stands - top quality from DW featuring omni-ball system - L rod Ø 12,7 mm - ball Ø 39mm - the cymbal stand with this double tomholder attached can also be used to add some smaller percussion items to my drum kit - in case the ball diameter would be too big? both rods can easily be replaced with smaller rods.

Hochwertige und solide DW-Qualität

Ich hatte vorher für meine Toms jeweils einen Einzel-Tomhalter von DW, habe mich dann aber dazu entschieden mein Set ein wenig umzubauen.
Damit ich auf der rechten Seite Platz für mein Ride habe, hängen meine 10er und 12er Tom jetzt beide links an diesem Doppel-Tomhalter.
Das Produkt ist massiv und wirkt hochwertig.
Nichts wackelt oder ist instabil.
Die Einstellmöglichkeiten sind dank der beiden Kugelgelenke optimal.
Solide DW-Qualität eben.
Das Produkt hält, was es verspricht.

PS:
Man sollte schauen, dass man einen guten Beckenständer besitzt, der schwer genug ist, um das Gewicht der Toms zu tragen und dabei fest auf dem Boden stehen bleibt.
Er sollte sich ebenfalls nicht unter dem Gewicht verbiegen.

DW hält was es verspricht

Die DW Halterung ist zwar aus asiatischer Produktion dennoch scheint die Halterung sehr stabil zu sein. Es können damit zwei Toms ganz einfach an einem Beckenständer befestigt werden. Eine gute Option für Drummer die keine Stand-Tom haben, bzw. das Set um ein paar kleine Toms zu erweitern.
