Exceptional guitar?

andi maschine, 12.05.2012
I admit, an electric guitar is not the first thing in my setup. I bought this nice guitar here, I had a 56s hand-held musician originally held in my hand and this one of their design could not be forgotten, and I also realized that I need at least an electric in the setup.

It is optically an intermediate between (highest quality!) Plastic toys and a Les Paul style guitar for adults. With the sound, which has nothing to do with plastic toys, and the available adjustment possibilities, I am very satisfied, it sounds if one would like a bit after the epoch, after which it also looks, the 50's, goes however however very positively out. It sounds much better than the Harley Benton LP replica, which I recorded so far. The tuners, pickups and strings look worn out :)

Anyone looking for a good-sounding and well-playable guitar, which is quite different from all the many other electric guitars, should definitely try these times! The only thing that makes me mad at my new flame is whether the double poti axis, which holds the upper small and the big rotary knob underneath a whole life together or can only participate until the confused 7th year?

Beautiful brunette, adorable sensation!

07.05.2016
We know the reputation of these guitars, whose materials and manufacturing processes would have everything to make flee, and yet have everything of great. Which explains why they have cost one or two hundred euros in five years ...

For a very modest price, I was looking for an alternative ergonomic (weight, design, grip, fragility) and sound (presence of mediums, treble, general dynamic) to my Les Paul Standard. Not the same guitar range, you say? That is true. And yet, believe me, I'm not ready to resell this little Dano at less than 400¤!

On design and manufacture, first of all, we can only welcome the quality of the recent contributions and the Korean realization. This guitar is simply beautiful and well designed. The narrow head, the profile of the handle (very ergonomic for a regular Gibson or Tele), the opaque amber color, the transparent plate glued and screwed carefully, the slice (edges) in white lino a little strange ... Reminiscent of the Italian design of the best eras, is like a fiat 500 - a little plastoc, but very well done and inspired.
The tailpiece, now adjustable, is not the craziest quality, yet it works very well, I tuned the guitar like a big one, and everything goes perfectly.
Access to the handle setting is now easier. But the "factory" setting is perfect, I did not need to touch it.
The microphones lipstick, the switch, the access door to the settings and connections of the knobs are naked. Mechanics can be replaced by more reliable or stronger, but these are well tuned and do the perfect job.

Only reserves: the knobs, whose manufacture in very light plastoc suggests a rapid wear if used too much, and whose effect on the sound is not very fluid (we pass very quickly a sound sluggish To a very bright tone); The strings of origin, to be immediately replaced in my opinion, they tend to soften the sound, are too supple and insipid; The metal nut, which I do not know what to think (probably less fragile and better for sustain, but the strings will break more easily).

And now, the most important: sound! It is pure Danelectro juice: very direct, medium-treble well present, shallow in the bass. I recommend the middle position, which puts the two microphones in series, with a slight natural crunch (Fender or Vox lamps), it is a marvel, the "answer" of the instrument to your attacks, that you play with the fingers Or the mediator, is remarkable. The serious microphone will bring a little softness and withdrawal to your game; The micro acute, a little disappointing, is a bland hair, and too "gling-gling" for my taste, but to play rockabilly in picking or flat picking, if you have a good reverb, it is wonderful.
Tube amp recommended for well pull part of the beautiful.

To conclude: vintage design irreproachable, quality Korean manufacture despite a few small reserves, its wonderfully typed (we think of Herman Dune, Moriarty, Beattles, The Who, Sebadoh, sometimes Hendrix with good fuzz ... is the possibilities ) - For this price, do not hesitate any more!
