Excellent for the occasional phaser user
Domformula1 22.12.2021
I have never been a big phaser user, but recently acquired some nice new Fuzz pedals and wanted to place a phaser after them, I didn’t want to spend too much as I knew it would only ever get light use. I went for this one as I’d had my eye on it for some time and really liked the aesthetic. Pleased to say this did not disappoint, it’s a very very usable phaser, certainly the best I’ve ever tried and the build quality really is up there with what this thing is clearly inspired by, all round I don’t think you can go wrong with this and I’d recommend to anyone curious about the effect.

Vintage Sound

This phaser has the vintage phase sound and it looks pretty vintage too.
Not the best quality, but pretty good for the money. I wish it had more features to choose from and it's quite large which of course looks vintage as well, but I don't think it's necessary to make it that big.

Congrats: You're Jean Michelle Jarre Now

It does *that* thing exactly like the other pedal that made JMJ famous. It does its thing and has survived the few gigs and studio sessions its been in. Typically I run keyboards through it and it works great.

If you own a delay pedal with a send-return loop or a desk it's good fun to have a phaser in the feedback adding texture. If you don't like this style of phaser, I'd just not get it.

Good value
Flecksy 17.05.2020
I've owned some Behringer products in the past and found them to be pretty decent for the price. I'd never gotten the really cheap stuff, though. But, as I was putting together an order to be shipped to Mexico, I thought I'll make good use of those shipping costs and order some effects. This is my first Phaser, so I have nothing to compare it to. However, I like the effect and the sound of this one in particular. The casing is metal, but seems like a mostly empty box and certainly feels cheap -ish in the hand. The switch doesn't have the usual 'click' when you step on it (don't know if it's just mine...), but it works fine. The tone switch and the tone dial are responsive and work well. I also notice that the volume seems to drop once I turn it on. Having said that, I really like this pedal and would certainly recommend it, particularly if you just want to try how a Phaser would be in your effects chain.

Best deal for that price
Clausione 05.11.2020
It is build like a tank. There is a tone switch that change the way pedal is working, one of its settings sound a bit like an auto wah. What convinced me to buy this pedal (a demo on youtube) was how subtle can be on its minimum setting. I used it mostly before a big muff fuzz. This pedal is dead silent, no buzz, no hiss, not even phaser envelope on background, but I have to mention that I use it with a very good multi power source.

Others said that it lacks amplitude, but this is exactly what I like, because you can't hear that artificial annoying sound, just a nice envelope that emphasize your sound. If you want something exaggerating, then you should look other way.

Phasing is fun with a big metal brick
Irzal 10.04.2022
Simple to use vintage phaser with a tone switch. The sound is OK, but if you roll the knob beyond 6 it becomes relatively useless. It is a sturdy metal brick with a relatively loud footswitch, and the battery slot is burried deep in the box so I recommend you have a power bank ready. Also, it consumes a lot of space on the pedalboard. Alltogether: not bad for a begginer's or bedroom players' taste in phasing, but probably not the first choice for gigging.

Does what it does very well
Bacoanire 15.01.2020
This is a very straightforward, one knob, one switch pedal. I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the effect is. Its very usable. Not versatile but what it does it does very nicely. Just a real pleasing swirl. No noise. A small loss of volume but that is to be expected. As a basic analog Phaser it is great. I believe it is a copy of an EHX. The enclosure is solid and its big but not that big. Well worth $20 as a first analog phaser and I like it much better than digital ones I've tried.

Great small stone replica
Ioan Eko 19.11.2020
This is the best small stone replica I've used so far when taking into account the price vs quality. The only negative point for me is that I'd like a slower phasing rate option. Maybe with a switch or something. I'll most likely end up modding my copy. Note that the output level is quite low just like with the original small stone phaser.

WB
Unusable!
Woodwork Barn 14.08.2022
I have several Behringer pedals and all are pretty good. I so much wanted this to be good but in fact the volume drop when engaged is so much that it makes it totally unusable for anything at all. I have tried everything to level it out, ie higher mA supply or placing it before the compressor but nothing works. I would guess the volume drops to around 25%. I will start saving up for a Small Stone so I can bin this!
