A big litter for small money!

25.03.2016
Foreword:
As a semiprof musician with a bedroom studio, it is practically impossible to evaluate student monitors objectively. For 23 years, I spent a lot of time on a regular basis. Also in other studios and also in fully professional setups. What I have learned from this is that every monitor sounds different in every room - partly completely.
The second not unimportant factor is the personal taste and also the preferred musical direction falls (although, in my opinion, not particularly) weight.
The "audiosoftware" in my brain, that is, the auditive perception, has experienced regular "updates", so has evolved enormously over the years. Hardwareside (ears) would be a maintenance: at 13.1 kHz the end of the flagstaff and on the left there is a small break in the upper middle. If you know that, you have to stop again and again with li exchange.
For a direct comparison, I only have the Alesis Elevate 5, the Behringer TRUTH B2031, and the AKG K 701 studio headphones (read correctly - but makes sense, the linear frequency response of the K 701 is almost legendary) available.
Despite trained hearing I dare not to compare the same piece of music with boxes of another studio directly and objectively - even if it is only 3 minutes away. Nevertheless, you get at least a subjective impression, which I can influence in the evaluation.

Rating:
The boxes sound bad and that's good!
(The TRUTH B2031 and this is the joke - twist the truth so much that even Bose HiFi Boxes swagger , But I still like them, because they have seen many monitors all over the years and have seen (broken) and still do as on the first day their service)
I have tested the K6 extensively and am blended in the usual way with the mixes to all possible eavesdropping? From professional studio to mobile phone? It must work everywhere.
Why do the NEKKST K6 make me happy? And with it I come to the

Conclusion:
I can finally finish the mix completely !!!
What more do you want.
I can really niggle well - one can ask my wife, but to the NEKKST K6 I find with the best will nothing which I could expose to it.
With this intercept, Behringer has succeeded a really big litter, which is surely not longer long as an insider tip is traded.

Tip:
As I said, it depends on the nature of the room. I use in my setup a subwoofer with very moderate settings, because otherwise I mix with my over the green clover praised K6 too bass-heavy.

About Behringer
One often reads very ambiguous things. My devices (and some are already) have fully met all my expectations (except for the Ultra-Dyne - that should have been a multi-band compressor .... - until one after months draufgekommen is that one must update the firmware complicated by Eprom, Because it does not really work properly .... The positive: In compressor settings, I am fit since then - because no one has actually caused something, since many owners, like me, have spent hours before the thing and finally began to doubt their hearing But something can happen already).
I think in the music biz there is, like almost everywhere, a certain snobbish, where the most expensive is just good enough. This is not always the best choice. It is undisputed that Behringer's business policy has given many people access to musical equipment, which would otherwise have been denied.
Why Mr. Klawitter, the designer of NEKKST, is so hailed as "THE BOXENGURU" by Behringer, opens up to me only if it is a marketing gag (a good, admitted measure), because all the achievements of Klawitters I mentioned My research at least, only once again at Behringer. Otherwise the man, apart from the founder of KRK (for a long time no longer in the company) is practically unknown.

Great near-field monitors

18.03.2016
I use the monitors in the homerecording area.

First impression :
- great design with illuminated logo (small eye-catcher)
- Very good connection possibilities
(XLR, jack and cinch)
- Great features like HF, LF and Room compensation
- in my opinion, the boxes sound neutral
And not musty
- Product description applies completely, but I am missing
The frequency spectrum of the boxes
- Netzkabel I personally find something short otherwise everything
Top

Conclusion:
In my opinion Behringer has brought a great product on the market, with helpful features, which my
Expectations fully met.
The price performance ratio is unbeatable.
I can only recommend this product!
