Habe aus zweierlei Gründen auf das neue Chassis upgegraded:

- beim Mk1 störte der Lüfter auf Dauer und Apogee versprach Besserung beim neuen Chassis
- die neue Control Software ermöglich nun 4 Cue Mixe statt 2 und den Anschluss von 3 Speaker-Paaren ohne Monitor Controller, inklusive Talkback über das iMac Mikro (galante Lösung).

Beide Punkte machen das neue Chassis zu einem Gamechanger für mich. Habe die Mk1 16x16 Karte rein geschraubt, TB Kabel dran, das Gerät angemacht und musste feststellen, dass nun mein iMac lauter war als das Apogee - und der ist quasi unhörbar ;)

Dazu ist die neue Control Software endlich zeitgemäß (im Gegensatz zur alten Maestro) und ich werde dadurch sogar meine Dangerous D-Box nicht mehr benötigen. Das switchen zwischen meinen 3 Abhören geht dank Touch-Screen unfassbar gut.
