Acus One-10 Black -a small giant

23.02.2016
Sure there are only external differences to the Acus One-10 Wood, of which there are quite a few reviews. My impression of black is as follows:
Before the device is switched on at all, you usually look at the instructions for use and will be very disappointed here. The fact that it is only written in Spanish, Italian and English is still a good deal to be overcome. The fact that some switches are not mentioned at all (master, master effect etc.) and the others are only poorly explained, is for a beginner little service-oriented. Here you would have liked a few concrete recom- mendations for sound and performance optimization. So try everything yourself!
I work alone with acoustic guitar, vocals and drum computer Alesis SR 18.
The Alesis I run over the "Line in LR" (channel No. 4). It is better controllable and gives more power than the LR-RCA input, which also has lower control possibilities.
The guitar runs over channel 5 (line in with guitar symbol). For the microphone (s) the inputs 1-3 with the XLR plugs are available.
First, another negative:
The effect setting will reset to 1 every time you restart, the last setting will not be saved. You have to remember that the desired effect setting has to be reset anew each time you restart. The 8 effect levels are so differentiated that I find at least the right one for the microphone setting, a further differentiation for the guitar is possible via the Zoom A3 preamp, which I use without problems.
But now to the fat Positiva, which by far predominate:
A very natural sound is produced for the acoustic guitar (Martin with Fishman pickup). With a front-mounted zoom A3, everything is met for my needs.
2. The 350 Watt produces a lot of pressure, both for the drum computer and for the microphone and guitar.
3. Despite the quite power, the sound remains differentiated, clearly brings the treble, middle and impressively the basses.
4. The power pack is space-saving and therefore easy to transport and set up.
4. Compared to a complex PA, this solution is a better alternative for a one-man show in the small to medium range.
