Det Europeiska företaget grundades 2007 I Riga, Lettlands huvudstad. Grundare och mastermind Juris Zarins har utvecklat en rad framgångsrika mikrofoner åt andra företag innan han startade upp JZ – bland annat för Blue Microphones.
