Fantastic handmade quality for a very reasonable price. Crashes have a nice ring to them and the ride have a rich tone and a clear bell. Everything about these cymbals breathe quality and even though there might be “better” cymbals out there, they will be twice as expensive but hardly twice as good. They are gorgeous and the pictures on Thomann do not represent how they look in reality. If you are unable to listen to the cymbals at your local music store, there are very little sound material and reviews on these online. But I was stunned by the sound and look when seeing them in person. You will not be disappointed at the craftsmanship or sound these cymbals produce. However, they need some hard hitting to really shine, the quality "ringing" tone will not be noticed until you give them powerful stroke. I only wish the Turkey cymbal makers had a union, watching YouTube content from the Istanbul Mehmet factory they do not seem to use any protection gear or earbuds. I don't want the workers being handicapped or losing their hearing for making us great cymbals. Thomann, please adress this to the best of your ability.

Pros: Sound and handmade quality. Pricetag.
Cons: The markings and lettering will smudge and disappear quickly. Do require some harder hitting to shine. Easily scratched because they are so shiny.

Bra cymbaler och ett billigare alternativ till Ziljdian. Om du inte vill lägga dubbelt så mycket pengar förstås.

Alla cymbalerna och hi-hat låter bra överlag. Får jag välja någon favorit så har 18 tums cymbalen bäst ljud och attack med en liten längre ton. Dom är dessutom mycket snyggare i verkligheten än Thomanns bilder som visar fel färgton.

A beautiful set!

As a session drummer, I wanted to get a set of cymbals that was versatile. I was nervous buying from online without testing first, but boy did they deliver! Crisp, clean sound with the hi-hats being my all time go to (I usually get asked what they are). I have used this set for numerous recordings and loads of gigs and they haven't failed me yet! Highly recommend!

Better than A custom, worse than 2002.

I always have been fan of copper and rich sound but I tried to change. This cymbals are bit similar A custom but stronger. Bit smoky, bit trashy, but high tone.
Hi-hat sensitive,loud enough, but not cut opening.High-mid tone.
16'' Crash shrill and washy, but cut more at open air.
18'' Crash deeper sound but you must beat it strong. No cut and deep sustain, similar as AAX.
20'' Ride jazzy,mid tone,smoky bit washy. Bell o.k. dick in cetre,not small, not big. Cut but not as big bell at Pro sonix I had. Equilibrated sound with the rest of the cymbal, so you hear bell and ride when play eights. Shuffle goes bit washy and weak, but barril tip stick will work good.Crushable edge, open tone, sustain good, but not too loud.
When they get dirty, the sound will be darker and warmer. It is a new chalange for me. For rock I play are bit thin and weak. Loud but no body. Dick cymbals B 10 are better.For pop and jazz good. I ve played open air already and is good, not 2002 but works. Generally similar A custom and AAX.I hope they are durable.
