I use it for the box in my studio. I like being contacts gold, so this Neutrik was my first choice. People say that it doesn't matter if it's silver or gold, but to me, it differs. At least, it feels good!

Pros: It's Neutrik and very compatible with other Neutrik connectors. I recommend using gold male connectors as well.

Cons: Actually, none.

Every step is important on a recording, but it starts with cable and connectors. So, if i need a connector, i always get it from Neutrik. If you're looking for high quality recordings or a great stage tool, get this one.

High Quality XLR Socket.

Once again, Neutrik delivers with a great, high quality XLR Socket. I use several of these on a 1u Rack plate on the back of my guitar rack. The main reason I use these is because it stops wear and tear on my won equipment!

So I se an Axe Fx 2. It has stereo left and right outputs. So instead of me wearing them out all the time, I just plug straight into these. And if they ever go wrong , its like £4 to replace. Instead of having to send the whole Axe Fx unit away for repair.

Not to mention its convient. Just cable a few of these on the back of the rack and your done. Easy to get to, and high quality.

The push button also comes in handy ( as I found out 3 weeks ago). We had a gig where there was a faulty XLR cable mid set, and then tech guy kept pulling different XLR cables trying to find the fault (it was a messy stage). He pulled my guitar one, but thankfully it was locked in place. So that avoided my guitar being cut from the F.O.H.
