After comparing various flutes and researching the pro's and con's, I am very pleased that I bought the Yamaha YFL-212SL as my first flute! It has a great superior sound quality and comes in a good protective casing. I know that I will have a great amount of years of pleasure from this flute. As an addition, I recommend a thumb or finger support. This helped me in the beginning stages of learning to play, to stabilize the flute better. I have been playing for several month now (previously playing recorder) doing online lessons and am well on my way. Mechanically it is a stable instrument. Very happy client!

Ayant débuté sur la FL200 de Thomann et étant arrivée rapidement à un niveau de type "intermédiaire", j'avais besoin d'un instrument de meilleure facture pour aborder des partitions nécessitant rapidité et souplesse...et je n'ai pas été déçue ! La Yamaha YFL 212 SL est une flûte facile à jouer, avec une grande homogénéité de son et les transitions entre les différents doigtés sont rapides, sans aucun bruit de tampon ou de mécanique...l'impression de jouer dans du beurre , venant de la FL 200 de Thomann ( qui reste un excellent modèle pour débutants ) !!! Je recommande vivement cet article !
