You definitely wish it

Nice sound, full warm body with at least two playing zones (near the edge and close to the center), piercing bell. In general cymbal is easy to crash but though very controllable make versatile sounds.

So, even after you've made strong accent at the edge, you may proceede playing with typical ride beat and this much more quet beat will be definitely noticeable and absolutely readable among others instruments. I would call this "multi sounding"
Totally different from others "ride" cymbals behavior: when you "crash" them you can't hear anything apart noise and looooong sustain after, it's hard to control them and stop producing sounds like Big Ben ^_^

Looks gorgeous, all that small things like signature and Benny's logo and random spots after hammering make every cymbal unique

I first encountered this cymbal through Benny Greb's demos, but then went on to listen to many online demos of other Meinl Byzance rides for comparison. I always came back to this one as it seemed to be the most musical and potentially the most versatile of the various Turkish ranges that Meinl do.
I was not wrong. This thing is alive with tone: capable of producing a whole range of flavours depending on how and where you hit it and what part of the stick you use. I play in an acoustic folk rock band and this is just great for that because there's the musical space for its range of voices to be heard. it puts a smile on your face just to play it. And it looks lovely too (particularly the underneath). So very pleased with this. And very happy with Thomann's prices and service too.

Lost my words for it

This is a cymbal ride out of the world in my opinion! Sounds great overall and the bell is just amazing! The sound doesn´t "grow" like other rides can do when you are "crashplaying" them.

What about the quality then?
Well if you do care about your stuffs you take care of them, basic rule. But the quality of this ride is really good, the handmade stuff does speak for itself.

Mabye the ride doesn't really fit your heavy metal music or music like that genre, highly recommended for jazz/funk/pop-rock. The Sand collection overall i do really like!
