The front wooden trim- where your wrists will spend most of their time is really badly finished, it doesnt line up with the chip board? it is attached to. Leaving gaps and a lip on either side.

It is glued on, so cannot be adjusted without cutting all the glue out - which is a huge job - that would ultimately damage the desk further i think.

As a result of poor build quality, the wooden trim has areas where it meets perfectly, but on either side, the wood is 3-4mm lower than the mdf, this means your mouse catches on the lip in use, and is very uncomfortable on the wrists.
Dust also falls between the cracks as the uneven glueing (thick globs in some areas, none in others) means there are gaps where the trim joins the desk and on each side of the wooden (where its supposed to meet the rack units) there is a 5mm gap too.
For the money, i would personally order 2 rack units and a desk.
looks impressive in pics, but i dont think ultimately its worth the money. I regret my purchase.

Sorry guys but while this unit certainly looks good, the build quality is not great. Apart for the main side panels and the front arm rest it's essentially chipboard covered with some sort of painted black vinyl. The paint finish on the corners was poor, and the surface scratches very easily and already the edge of a piece of vinyl has peeled away. Yes I'm picky but for this price it should be more resilient to marks, especially considering what objects might land on it in a session! There is also no way to hide cabling so some kind of cable tray should be added and maybe an additional section underneath to hide cabling. On the positive side it does look great and the assembly instructions were very easy to follow.

Vorweg: Verpackung, Aufbau, Verarbeitung und Optik sind super und sehr zufriedenstellend.

Allerdings zeigt sich in der Praxis, dass folgende (leicht umzusetzende) Features das ganze zu einem wirklich runden Produkt gemacht hätten:

Ein Kabelschacht bzw. Kabelablage wie sie mittlerweile bei jedem IKEA Schreibtisch Standard ist. Entlanggeführt unter der hinteren Ablage mit einem Kabeldurchlass in die Rackspaces und alles ließe sich schick und unsichtbar verkabeln. Stattdessen quält man sich mit Kabelbindern und ähnlichen Hilfsmitteln der ansprechenden Optik auch im bestückten Zustand gerecht zu werden. Bei dem Preis nicht unbedingt zu erwarten. Wenn man sich darauf einstellt ist es aber ein schöne Möbel.
