Excellent easy stage sound, very versatile in Home recording

Very nice cabsimulator!

It's very easy to use, for live use just plug it in between your amp and speaker cab. And since it is entirely passive there's no fuss with changing batteries and worrying about how much charge there is left!

In a home recording enviremont it is brilliant too. Plug any preamp or distortion pedal into it and connect the PDI to your DAW and you'll have more than decent sounds for demo's and pre-productions!

The filter switches offer you a nice spectrum of different sounds and this device is definitely built to last!

Prima DI-Box

gebruik deze in combinatie met een Sennheiser E609 en een Shure SM-57. De DI is in dit geval voor 3% te horen in de live mix, wanneer je hem solitair gebruikt vind ik het geluid "te digitaal" in mijn live-rig dient hij enkel ter ondersteuning van de mic's. De E609 en de Shure SM-57 zorgen voor de organische klank van de speakercab.

Voor thuisgebruik is hij prima geschikt om silent te recorden. ik gebruik dan een "poweramp model" via een plug-in

I bought this for recording and so I can use a small amp (Princeton) live using the outputs for additional monitoring and PA. It's incredible and has all the features I need in a small box. It even has mounting holes in case you wanted to permanently fix it in the back of a rack or similar. It offers a good range of sound options via switches. I'm hoping Palmer will bring out something in between this and the rack unit; this with an integral dummy load. As usual the best price I could find was Thomann and it was delivered from Germany to the UK in 3 days. Excellent.

Perfect, pedal board mountable box

NOW THAT's WHAT I CALL GREAT STUFF.
- many routing possiblilities.
- Very good Sound
- ULTRA low Noise floor
- Small
It is currently just bolted onto my pedal board and gets rerouted from time to time as needed:
- AMP -> PALMER -> SPEAKERS
- AMP -> PALMER -> SPEAKERS + LINE OUT
- FX -> PALMER -> MIXING BOARD/RECORDER/...
- FX -> PALMER -> AMP
Works perfect, is extremely versatile (even beyond the descriptions), Sound very good, is build as a tank.
