I bought this enclosure to tackle my very first DIY project: racking two preamps... I have to say I'm very pleased with quality and sturdyness of this enclosure.

It's well finished and easy to assemble. I particularly like the thick, 3mm front, very robust yet easy to drill through with my 'crappy' basic tools.

If Adam hall had provided holes to screw it to the top and bottom lids of the enclosures instead of just 4 screws for the sides it would have been even better, as (I found) the top and bottom seem to be prone to bend slightly when handled and I might have to add extra holes myself.

Also, the rear corner could have been 'tucked inside' the top and bottom panels. I can see a possibility for them to bend outwards.

Other than that, it's perfect for a beginner who wants to embark in their first DIY adventure.

Mala calidad de ensamblaje.

Los tornillos tipo roscachapa no coinciden con los taladros. En cuanto aprietas levemente se pasan de rosca.
Las tapas laterales no encajan con la superior e inferior. Precisan un corte similar al que trae la tapa trasera.
La tapa trasera debería atornillarse a las laterales para mejorar la rigidez del conjunto.

El Montaje del rack es una carcasa de 19" / 2U rack vacío recinto fabricado con acero galvanizado de 1,2 mm, y un panel frontal con recubrimiento de polvo de aluminio de 3 mm, y una profundidad de 250 mm, y cuenta con ranuras de ventilación. Muy buen producto y con una alta fabricación.
