Sennheiser MEB 114 W

Come tutti i modelli di microfono da tavolo, esige un ambiente assorbente e non riverberante perchè la distanza dalla fonte è normalmente più ampia che per gli altri microfoni, es. a collo di cigno.
Se il celebrante è molto alto e magari ha una dizione debole, potrebbe deludere un po', tuttavia lo ritengo il migliore microfono del genere che abbia provato, quindi sono abbastanza soddisfatto.

USE
We're using it on the altar at church so vicar/priest can lead hands free during communion.

SOUND
This is a great sounding mic, great clarity and honesty of reproduction.
In our situation we find it difficult to get enough volume from it without feedback (it's at about waist height on top of the altar and about 300mm in from the edge), our front of house speakers aren't in great locations (being remedied in the near future) and our desk only has 2 parametric mids and there's at least one other frequency I'd like to get rid of...but...it's still great.

Not the cheapest mic but the only one I'd choose for this job.

Komme aus der Photografie-Ecke und hatte mich mit Bilderschauen beschäftigt. Da braucht man Ton. Ab hier kennen viele das weitere. Es wurden also diverse Mikros beschafft, für O-Ton, Textaufnahmen und Sprachaufzeichnungen.... und mit Stativen zu hantieren ist nicht immer möglich.

Da kommt eine Grenzfläche gerade recht, auf den Tisch legen und gut ist. So bis vier Leute hatte ich bislang (meist um zweie) und die Aufnahmen waren sehr gut für meinen Bederf.

Filzuntersetzer für Gläser wäre Pflicht :-) Das Gerät ist wertig verarbeitet und wird mit Phantomspeisung betrieben. Jedoch ein "Mini XLR" Anschluß wird verwendet, ein Kabel passend liegt bei.
(Es liegen Tiny/Mini XLR auf XLR 3m bei.)

Meins war jedoch "ab Werk" defekt (Und wurde getauscht durch Sennheiser.) War für mich kein Beinbruch, da ich ein passendes Kabel bereits woanders beschafft hatte.

Von da aus kann ich sagen für meine Bedürfnisse recht rauscharm und eine saubere Tonaufnahme. Stimmen sind neutral. Hab das Gerät an Tascam Recordern im Einsatz.
