I tried different straps for my snares, usually the classic transparent ones and I was looking for something heavy duty and stylish at the same time, so something black that can match better my drums.
Here we are: I bought these Puresound straps and they simply do the job in the best way possible, really.

Might be the best strap for your snares
I think mylar straps are better than the classic cord. It's easier to keep the snares evenly aligned and they don't suffer from wear like cords.

I bought this straps to use with the Puresound T1420 Twisted Wires 14/20.
They just make the wires sound more "round" and balanced.
I feel that the wires have a litle more sustain.
