Ottimo microfono moderno

Il TLM49 nonostante sia all'apparenza una rivisitazione Budget del M49/50, non può essere considerato un microfono di livello inferiore ai precedenti.
TLM sta per "TransformerLess Microphone" (dove il classico trasformatore in uscita è sostituito da un circuito elettrico) e il costo del prodotto inferiore ad altri modelli del neumann non è di certo dovuto ad un calo di qualità (come potrebbe sembrare guardando agli altri microfoni non del tutto riusciti della serie TLM : 103;102) ma piuttosto ad una maggiore modernità nella scelta dei materiali.
Il suono del TLM49 è dettagliato, caldo e moderno, privo di particolari difetti, in particolar modo grazie alla capsula K47 il neumann, ha quel colore che tanto fu amato in tanti album cult ed è capace di registrare con una risposta sorprendente qualsiasi tipologia di suono senza distorsione fino a 129db ne colorazione sulle basse.
Si presta dunque sia a registrazioni Vocali che Foleying, batterie, chitarre e qualunque cosa vi venga in mente.

Cosa manca? possibilità di scegliere una diversa figura polare dal cardioide, problema non tanto per la sua effettiva utilità quanto per il fatto che M49/50 avevano questa caratteristica

Lo standard Neumann per le voci!

Utilizzo il microfono nel mio Home studio.
Voce maschile con impostazione lirica, ma a volte anche pop.
Curva di eq perfetta per la mia voce, non devo quasi mai fare correzioni.
Ottimo livello di uscita, lo uso con una Scarlett 6i6.
Mi trovo benissimo!

A world of its own! Neumann TLM 49

After reading, checking forums and researching, I pulled the trigger and got this big baby! I have previously recorded with this mic in several professional broadcast studios in Berlin and Bonn, so I have an idea how my voice sounds doing voiceover and radio work, but not singing.

After connecting the mic to my RME UCX builtin mic preamp, I noticed that the output from the mic was not as hot as it is with my other condenser mics, nevertheless I was blown away with the way this mic responded to my voice. I tend to occupy a wide dynamic range when singing, and this mic was sweet, warm and intimate with the whispers, and had that crisp tone, details and definition when singing flamenco-like screams. I seriously do not understand why and how people trashed this mic in some forums.
My experience was nothing but great. Put that mic in front of a serious performer and you'll understand why Neumann consider this a vocal mic. One thing however, the shock mount doesn't seem to hold the mic well. And I need to over tighten the screw which does not seem right considering the amazing build quality of this mic. I am planning to contact thomann team if the issue persists.

Highly recommended microphone. If you are looking for a high quality vocal microphone, get it. But remember it is NOT the mic, it is you, your talent and the music that flows through you!

Cant go wrong with this

I mainly record vocals on beats so I need my recordings to be top notch.
My old akg 214 was a nightmare.Too much harshness...
By my first recording with tlm 49 I was cured.I was spending so much time on correcting things with the akg, but with tlm 49 everything was smooth, the high's were smoother.
The only thing that lacks is the lows.Thats why its " Optimised sound for vocals ".
