Great stand but...

This is a super-quality stand. Folds nicely and the spine is made from painted aluminium rather than plastic as in some other cheaper stands.
However, the major complaint about this stand is the cradling arms are too short(the "hands" that hold the bottom of the violin). They do not extend far enough to accommodate a violin with a shoulder rest! If you want a stand which holds a violin with shoulder rest then look for another model because this one doesn't accommodate a rest. The maximum extension of the hands is 90mm. My violin has 110mm thickness with the shoulder rest fitted, so this stand doesn't take it. Measure your violin thickness with shoulder rest fitted before buying this stand.

Great Stand, a bit small for Violas

It's a great stand, and easily transportable as it colapses very small. The bow holder is a nice touch too.

It is a bit small for a Viola though, however will still hold it well, just make sure to place it down properly.

Gut durchdachtes Konzept!

Wir sind mit unserer Band viel unterwegs und nutzen auf OpenAirs und Festivals nicht nur unser Equipment.

Wer sich die Frontline schon mit mehreren Musikern teilen durfte, weiß, so ein Mikrofonständer kqnn auch mal mit K&M Zubehör voll wie ein Tannenbaum sein.

Also stand auf dem Wunschzettel als Ersatz für den Geigenhalter für den Mikroständer, ein autarker Violinenständer, welcher sich gut transportieren lässt (klein, leicht), aber trotzdem roadtauglich daher kommt.

Die Ingenieure von K&M müssen sich nach der Entwicklung von dem Schnuckelteil selbst auf die Schulter geklopft haben.
Zusammengefaltet ist das Teil nicht viel größer als ein Zollstock und nachdem man das Prinzip begriffen hat auch selbst erklärend-sogar der Gitarrist hat es geschnallt ;-)

Der tiefe Schwerpunkt gibt dem Instrument guten halt.
Ich hatte zwar anfänglich die Sorge, dass ein bisschen Wind das Teil samt Geige schnell von der Bühne pustet- dies hat sich aber bis dato als unnötig erwiesen.

Die Schulterstütze kann übrigens ohne Problem am Instrument verbleiben. Alles passt, bzw. lässt sich entsprechend einstellen.

Alles in allem ein guter Kauf, wie fast alles von K&M.

Muy poco resistente, la pieza que sujeta el arco se rompió con facilidad. Por otra parte la base es muy pequeña y a nada que toques el violín caería al suelo. Yo recomiendo otro producto con más peso y mejor base.
