Non avevo mai avuto ance sintetiche finora ed ero molto preoccupato di quanto le fibre sintetiche potessero snaturare timbro e calore del suono del mio sax. Devo dire invece che questa ancia fa benissimo il suo dovere, è molto flessibile e piacevole al tatto, non richiede di essere inumidita e dunque "scaldata", è subito pronta per essere suonata al 100%. Ho riscontrato un aumento del volume in confronto alle ance in legno e un timbro molto singolare, in senso positivo.
La consiglio per la durata che ovviamente è molto più lunga rispetto al legno e per quel certo feeling che ho riscontrato soprattutto nel gestire le note ai due estremi dell'estensione dello strumento. Ottimo!

All Saxophone players should give it a try. It is absolutely the best out there!! I play Jazz, funk and latin music and I cannot change it with anything right now.
Pros: Great response, tuning, reliability, endurance. Used both for practising or live sessions. It has also the feel of a traditional reed.
Cons: None!

Sound & projection is very good, it lasted for like 14months with Me- very Durable and quite easy to play, Only Downside is they are not Very Consistent-i bought 2 other ones of the same reed strength but they were not as good as the First one. But when you get a good one- it is so worth it!

I'm playing saxophone since 10 years and tried a lot of reeds from classic Vandoren to Legere plastics. But this is the ultimate answer for any saxophonist who wants to play Jazz, Swing, Rock, Blues etc. It's unbelievable easy to play with (M= 2.5-3) and has a full, deep sound. It's also waterresistant what means just wipe it off and it stays as it is for months. Speaking of durability, you can use the same reed for at least half a year if you are treating it fine. I have to say, for 27€ it is the best reed you can buy.
