Surprisingly Good

I got a second hand Custom '68 Princeton which had had the stock speaker (this one) replaced. Someone had been pursuing a '65 sound with the wrong amp. Anyway, I bought this to get it back to stock and sounds much better to my ears. Not sure what it'd sound like in other amps or cabs. Quality-wise? Celestion made in China. Seems to be OK.

Tight and powerfull

Very nice sound. I bought it as a replace for my laney cub10, this is a huge upgrade! This speaker way better than stock H/H custom. Ideal for rock and roll.

Es ist ja immer auch Geschmackssache mit dem Sound. Ich nutze den Speaker zu Hause in einem Eigenbau-Amp (5 Watt, 1 x EL 84 Endstufe), der sich an Marshall orientiert. Clean und angezerrt angenehm leistet der Speaker jetzt schon 2 Jahre problemlos gute Dienste.

je voulais remplacer le hp d'origine fender design 8"d'origine m.......qui lui meme a été remplacé avec un agrandissement pour faire passer un bicone de 10" que j'avais récupéré pour mon fender vibrochamp xd.

c'est en testant le fender princeton sur lequel il y avait ce hp que j'ai décidé de l'acheter et grand bien, car il est très satisfaisant et homogène, peu couteux au point de redécouvrir mon ampli et beaucoup mieux que les jensen qui sont agressifs dans les mid aigus et sans bas que Fender s'évertue à mettre sur beaucoup de ces modeles
