I have used and tried PRS SE Angelus -guitars before I bought one myself from Thomann. I have even tried those 6000+ euro PRS Angelus electroacoustics, which are in different league by themselves, but however the playability and sound of SE's are an excellent match for those expensive PRS's.
The reason I got myself a Custom SE was the fact that its rosewood bottom and sides give a more clear tone to it and the bass is more deeper in my opinion. The playability is the same as in Standard model. Sitka spruce top is the same in both of the Angelus SE models and sounds also exquisite. Angelus has a quite electric -guitar playability-feeling actually and works great with my playing style with or without plectrum.
SE guitars are made in Korea with PRS exclusive license and are finally set up in a PRS shop. Mine was set up in the United Kingdom, where the intonation, action and the finish has been also quality-controlled. I have not found a single fault in my guitar and it plays beautifully. For those who want a great guitar without spending tons of money, I think PRS SE Angelus is a great option. Having tried a variety of guitars (Taylors, Martins and etc, the PRS is one of the best)
