La Bella started in 1915, when Emilio Mari und Olinto Mari founded the company E. & O. Mari, Inc.. The head office is in New York (USA). According to official records a total of 88 members of staff are working for La Bella (status 2011). The official German branch is Knauer in Fellbach (D).
