CONSTRUCTION: The pedal is very solid. It's made out of a metal case and it seems that it'll take more than a few accidental hits. I read in other reviews that a piece of rubber beneath the actual pedal plate was impeding the proper turn-on/off functionality of the pedal. Of course I expected this when I received mine, but I had no problems with this unit, so that's a plus.
SOUND: While it has very nice sounds and crazy options, it is kind of hard to grasp it at once. I thought my unit was defective when I first twitched with the controls, but as it turns out it is a very sensitive pedal and it will sound weird and badly if you don't fine tune it (specially with an active instrument). But the time spent to learn this pedal it's totally worth it. Just don't desperate and play around until you find your sound. Regarding its options, my personal favorite is the positions 1 and 2, which are envelope filters without and with an octave effect. It is true that in a real band situation (specially if there is a mid-range instrument, like a guitar) the synth options in the pedal will be useless, but you can have a lot of fun playing around at home or jamming with the drummer. All options are great and it's worth it to learn every one of them to leverage their potential in your style of playing.
Also the pedal can be noisy a times, I don't have a noise gate but I don't think it will be a good idea to have one with this pedal. It's just the way it is, but for the price I've paid I am more than happy.
TL:DR: Solid product, very nice sound, variety of good options, plus any major pentatonic lick that you could play will be badass level over 9000 with the octave+envelope filter (position 2). All of that for 40 euros. Now that's a deal

For the price, this is an amazing pedal. It definitely takes a little tweaking but once you get the right settings it's amazing. My band have been amazed by the sound from such a cheap pedal. A downside is that it's a little noisy. Even with a noise suppressor it makes a fair bit of noise when you stop playing but for a cheap pedal that is to be expected. The tracking on the octave setting is really quite good, definitely stands up to the competition which I may add is a lot more expensive. A word of caution, before you try and use this open the pedal up and take out the rubber part from the top of the lid and put it in the metal part that switches the pedal on. I spent a fair while trying to figure out why it wouldn't turn on before I realised. Anyway, a great pedal for the money which I will definitely be using in my band. Great synth tones.
