I use this, not on a snare but a Tom. It’s ideal for playing 16th strokes and fattening the sound for Tamla and similar material rather than hats. Just one comment. I thought I was buying a 14” model, which was my mistake so be aware of that when ordering. Recommended.

Ich habe einmal die BFSD ohne Schellen und einmal mit - und benutze beide regelmäßig. Einfach auf die Snare gelegt (egal ob schon Moongel auf dem Fell ist oder nicht) und schon hat man einen "tieferen, mächtigeren" Snaresound. Da ich viel leise und unplugged spiele ist für mich natürlich wichtig, dass ich auch im kleinen Dynamikbereich eine gute Ansprache habe. BFSD ermöglicht mir auch das. Egal ob fette HipHop Bühne oder kleine unplugged Kneipe ohne Mikros, ich bin rundum zufrieden und würde es jedem weiterempfehlen, der nach schneller Soundvariation sucht, ohne gleich die ganze Snare zu wechseln.
Verarbeitung ist auch top und lässt sich ganz einfach vom Fell runter nehmen und drauf legen. Auch ein Einsatz mit Trigger an der Snare ist bei meinen Roland Triggern gut möglich. Preis ist gerechtfertigt, wie ich finde!
