Perfect for pop, rock and fusion

These sticks are great for a full and fat sound on the kit and hi hats, and you don’t have to hit hard to get that full sound, and considering they are 5B they have a light balanced feel, they aren’t overly heavy.

With all that said, you don’t lose clarity on the cymbals, as the barrel tip helps for a pronounced ride cymbal sound, which most bigger 5B don’t give you. So these will suit heavy and light playing situations, they are very well rounded.

I haven’t found any real downside to the sticks, and they last a decent amount of time, considering I practice on the kit for a minimum of 2 hours of consistent playing, and maybe another hour on the pad, I’m roughly getting a month out of a pair before I see a decrease in quality.

Une variante des classiques 5B intéressante

J'ai essayé les 5B barrel tip pour essayer une alternative aux baguettes signatures Georges Kollias qui se situe entre des 55A et des 5B.

Même après 16 ans de batterie il est toujours nécessaire pour moi de faire des expérimentations au niveau des baguettes et ce n'est jamais facile de s'arrêter sur un choix.

J'ai donc testé ces barrel tip pour changer un peu.

Je n'ai pas été déçu car elles apportent une bonne attaque et un son exceptionnel sur la ride. Je joue du métal progressif et elles m'apportent suffisamment de puissance quand j'en ai besoin et des ghost notes délicates à d'autres moments.

J'ai tout de même l'impression que je perd en rebond et en volume sur les toms par rapport à une olive plus classique en épi.

Un modèle à tester pour les fans de 5B.

Superbe équilibre

Les meilleures baguettes de batterie que j'ai pu avoir en mains ! Equilibre parfait, olive très juste sur les cymbales, et rebond tout à fait correct. Je recommande vivement à tous les batteurs qui veulent pouvoir jouer un peu de temps, du jazz au métal !
