A great splitter... delighted with this product!
SoulWorks 26.09.2019
We use this splitter to produce a duplicate signal for each of our 8 channels going to the mixer. These are connected to a USB audio interface which is used for multi-channel recording.
Meanwhile, the main 'thru' signal goes to the mixer as normal.
The splitter makes possible this separation of live sound and recording, and that simplifies things greatly.
We've been v pleased by the sound quality. Well done Behringer on a quality product!!
It's also great that the Phantom Power from the mixer can pass through the splitter to power DI boxes and condenser mics on stage... but is electrically isolated from the duplicate output (which we use for recording).
For us, this has made recording live gigs very easy.

Almost perfect
aggo 20.04.2020
I bought 2 of those for the splitter rack of my band. The product works fine, soundwise I can say it's perfectly ok for live situation. No problems with phantom power, as long as you follow the instructions. I can't tell about studio quality because I haven't used it in such setting. The price is super!
The only real downside is that having 2 outs on the back is quite a bummer for those who want to use it in a two face rack case and have both ins and half of the outs available. I had to buy a rack panel with XLR holes and solder connection cables to solve this issue. There are alternatives with different configurations (ins and 1 out on the front, 1 out on the back) but the price difference is so relevant that I preferred to do this workaround.

K
Very easy to use microphone splitter!!
KZ.Kazuma 24.03.2022
First of all, there is a LINK button.
I don't use this button, but the audio of 1 and 2ch is added up and output from 1 and 2ch.
Then there are through outs and trans outs.
Through-out is out with almost no change in sound.
The trans out has a slightly blurred low range, but this is not a problem.
The transformer out has a gain of about 8db.
Be aware that typing at the line level can result in overloading.

Best for the money
Paolo Mancuso 20.12.2022
If you want to record a live show and send the instruments to another guy at the console this piece of equipment is absolutely awesome in your rack. It is sturdy, the splitters are high quality and they are all separated with transformers. You can send the direct sound to your audio interface and the transformer output to the audio guy. The sound is the same but it makes you able to use your own phantom power, so you no longer have to deal with random jumpscares as the barman turns on the crappy phantom power on his crappy console
