The BCS (Berlin Combination Snare) was developed in collaboration with Franz Schindlbeck, the first drummer of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. It impresses with its new absolutely noise-free lifting mechanism and its unique snare from one material (straight) nylon coated steel strings. This offers a very wide tonal range and a wide dynamic range with minimal resonance from other instruments. The 6.5 inches deep, 6-ply Boiler provides a rich, symphonic sound when power is needed.
