.... But then the guys at Wampler Pedals UK treated me to a day playing around with their collection! I have been using the HotWired V1 for quite a few years, and loved it so much i had 2! However, when put alongside the Dual Fusion, the HotWired seems to lack a complexity and sophistication than the Dual Fusion has. The 2 channels are distinctly individual sounds, which i'm told are based on a Transparenty Klon-like dumbly thing on channel 1, and the Paisley Drive (A Tubescreamer circuit) on channel 2. You have plenty of options to tweak each side, and the ability to switch the order is a bonus! Several players i know now use this, and we all use it completely differently. For me, the clincher was the separate inputs/outputs, meaning i can use each like individual pedals in my rack system, and save space! Buy, Buy, buy!
