somehow universal usefull
I have been using it several times in figure 8 as the side-mic in MS arrays, on different acoustic instruments and in different constellations, in both small chambers and in large halls. Until now it always worked nicely and sounded good in combination with other mics, almost like an universal tool, I like it, and I will continue using it for MS arrays. It is really heavy and bulky, somehow impressing if you appreciate such a masculine design, not so convenient to carry around when you have other things to carry, definitively not good for backpacking, but I take it with me to recording sessions when I can. It survived falling down on a floor when its stand was tilting over, probably its solid shock mount saved its life. As a vocal mic it works ok for me as well. But for that I do prefer the Rode Nt-1, after comparing, since I own them both.

T.Bone S-1100 excellence
Having read many reviews of various microphones at different price ranges, i took a chance and opted for the TBone SC-1100, based on value for money and an expectation of a mediocre but usable performance. How wrong i was, this microphone has exceeded all of my expectations and delighted me from the start. The build quality is solid, the sonic attributes first class and sensitive enough to pick up a mouse burp at 300 yards. All in all i am very happy with the purchase, go buy one, you will be pleased you did for the price.

PS
Very good and decent sounding mic
The sound of the mic is very good.
The only downside is this socket to which you mount the mic. That stretchy wire is just degrading over the time, and is breaking down.. But the rest is pretty awesome, and I made already professional sounding recordings with it at home.

Cheap and useful
This was my very first microphone i bought about 2 year ago and i'm still using it often.
Before i bought it, i only compared online by soundfiles, but i don't be sorry about buying it.
It comes in a very stable case where the mic and the shockmount fits perfectly in.
Mounting the Mic to eh Shockomount is very easy it is very stable.
The whole kit seems to have a high quality.
The soundquality is very good in my opinion. To me it seems to be very linear.
The switch to choose omni, figure eight and cardioid is very practible. You can conform it perfectly to your recording situation, dependent to your room and soundsource.
The low cut switch does its job and was for me often useful.
Of course the mic is very sensitive and you have to carry about side noise. It helps a lot to use it in a acoustically tuned room.
In a standard living room maybe it is easier to not use a large diaphgragm mic.

Happy with it
Not the best mic but it does have a nice sound. I use it with my saffire pro 40 and it gives you a warm sound. Have for a long time now and never had an issue with it. I recommend it for someone with a budget. It certainly does the trick.

great value for money
bought this as a backup for my home studio. I generally use a Rode NT1 for recording cello but this i have found gives me better results. It seems to give more "air" to the sound and is quite crisp around 800hz. Its quite solid in construction and is definitely value for money. well done Thomann.

Great mic for the price!
This is a fantastic microphone for its price!
it is by no means the best microphone in the world! but for someone on a budget it definitely gets the job done!
Fantastic addition to the studio, i would recommend it to people on a budget! as well as people who just need a spare mic with great quality for an extremely low cost!
