Believe it or not, this is the fourth time that a KE3 of one denomination or another has crossed our path: we looked at a gorgeous Custom Shop Kelly way back in issue 214, a guitar we sometimes still dream about… This Pro Series KE3 offers the same body shape, a cross between a Gibson Explorer and the long forgotten but sorely missed Ibanez Destroyer, as well as a veneer of flamed maple atop a solid alder body.
