This is a quality piece of kit ideal for my needs. Good size solid and can swap pedals in and out if I need too. Quality Velcro for attaching of the pedals, comes with soft case but will get flight case eventually. Delivery was fast can't fault Thomann would be more than happy to purchase further items from them again. Cheers Paul. ;-)

Pedaltrain pedalboards are, in my opinion, a state-of-the-art design for a guitar effects pedalboard. Pedaltrain is made of aluminium, and thus it's very light. Mounting a power supply underneath is fairly easy with blind rivets, and practically any PSU fits under the bigger Pedaltrain models.

My PT-3 came with the soft case, which is as neat as the board itself. The case has an extra pocket for stuff like cables and such. I have heard that the case is not very durable in long-term use, but in these two months I've been using it there's been no problems at all.

The only downside of pedaltrain boards is price, which I think is a little high for what you get, even though the product itself is very good. Still, I don't regret buying this, it will last a long, long time.

PT3 Soft Case

As the title indicates this review is about the soft case version of the PT3.

The story started when a fellow student of mine asked me wether I wanted to come to a rehearsel of his band and audition for the vacant place of the bass player. So far never really used any effects in my old bands, but as the genre was something new to me I decided to try something new with my bass tone aswell. Especially after my classmate introduced me to the bass fuzz.
I first started out with a Pedaltrain junior, which soom became to small for the number of effects I collected. So I started looking for a bigger alternative. Because a I had a very good feeling with the PT junior, it was clear to me, that I wanted to stick with Pedaltrain.
The PT3 is amazing. It is solid, yet not terribly heavy. It offers a lot of space and the possibility to neatly organize a quite large number of effects aswell as the possibility to place a power supply unit at the bottom.

While the soft case makes a good impression, I'd however recommend investing in the hard case version. It's more expensive, but also offers more protection and you don't have to readjust the pedal settings all the time due to the soft case turning the knobs.
